MERRY CHRISTMAS

What a wonderful first Christmas we spent with Stefanie. For weeks we had been trying to keep Stefanie away from the Christmas presents and finally the day came when she was able to open them all. Opening presents took us a very long time, and Stefanie was overwhelmed opening so many gifts at one time. Jon and I should have stretched opening gifts out over a few days like my friend Karin Brown did with her daughter Maya. Unfortunately we did not think of this before Christmas, so we sat in the family room opening every present with Stefanie, and taking as many "Kodak" moments as we could. Stefanie was excited with every gift, and it took us time to eventually convince Stefanie to put down her toy to open another gift. Jon had a really hard time understanding all toys are tied down so well you cannot just pry them out of the box.

We have truly been blessed with our daughter Stefanie. Last Christmas my wish was to have Stefanie home. This year my prayers were answered and what a special day this was. Stefanie loves all of her gifts and especially enjoyed the honey baked Virginia ham from Uncle Danny (my brother).
