SNOW DAY!!

Today was Stefanie’s first time playing in snow. Stefanie awoke from her nap to see me standing in her bedroom doorway, wearing a red hat. She got a big smile on her face and we both started to laugh. Stefie enjoyed making tracks in the snow with her feet, chasing me, and holding snow in her hands. Today was another day I will never forget.

BATH TIME AND A FEW WINKS

Today, I could not resist taking photos of Stefanie after her bath, since she was so happy in her green towels. This evening Theresa, Stefanie and I went out shopping. Stefanie was walking through the store and found a bicycle she liked, and turned around falling face forward. After picking Stefanie up off the floor (she was not hurt), she began to wink and smile at a much older gentlemen with his daughter or granddaughter. I was shocked and Theresa and I began laughing. The only thing I could say was "little devil" very quietly to Theresa. (The man and young lady were quite a distance away from us.) I told Theresa Stefanie needs to at least find a man closer to her age. What I meant by this was, the man looked to be late 60's, all grey hair and wearing glasses. Stefanie is not even two years old! Theresa and Jon asked me where Stefanie learned to wink, and I did not know. I now remember, I use to sometimes wink at Stefie while she was in her high chair eating, and it would make her laugh.

CAT TOYS

Today, I began working on adoption paperwork, and Jon was watching Stefanie. I came out of the office to find Jon in front of the television, and Stefanie on the floor playing with cat toys. Stefanie would take a cat toy and place it in Daddy's shoe, then take it out of the shoe and place it in a wicker basket.

DISNEY PRINCESS BLANKET

Today, Stefanie received a Disney Princess blanket in the mail from her cousin Lisa. Stefie could not wait to open her gift and wear her blanket.

This morning Stefanie and I played with her new Aquadoodle. Stefie had a great time, and loves the music.

THERESA SHOVELS SNOW

My sister Theresa has been waiting for it to snow, and today it finally snowed. Theresa was so excited; she came home from work and ran outside to shovel snow for the first time. Jon and I had a good laugh, and had no problems letting Theresa enjoy the experience of shoveling snow.

WE ARE ADOPTING AGAIN!!!!!!

Jon, Stefanie and I have exciting news for the New Year, we are beginning the adoption process again! Jon and I could not wait to begin the adoption process for another baby girl from China, and for Stefanie to have a little sister.

I will be posting different photos on Kailey's Blog and adoption information. The adoption process is currently taking 22-24 months from the time your Dossier is logged in at the CCAA.

A NEW YEAR

Stefanie received a Little People Castle as a Christmas gifts from one of my best friends Donna, and her family (Robert, Natalie and Audrey), and she absolutely loves it! New Year's Day was spent quietly relaxing at home while Stefanie played with her new toys, and then we went out to dinner.
