A NEW LOOK & FIRST CLASS

This week I enrolled Stefanie in My Gym, and classes will be once a week for an hour, with one hour a week free playtime. The class began with introductions and warm up stretches. We sang songs, played as a group, and had free time. Stefie walked stairs, used the slide, played in the ball pit, walked the mats, did a few forward tumbles, sat in a swing, and played a drum. The class ended with us singing a song, popping bubbles, and enjoying a story with a penguin. Stefie received a stamp of a flower, on her hand and belly button, which she loved! Theresa (my sister) was nice enough to take photos for us.

MEETING SANTA CLAUS

CHEF STEFANIE, NOVEMBER 22, 2006

Today Stefanie helped me make pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving Day. Stefanie started out helping me pour the ingredients into a very large bowl. Everything was going well until I took my hand off Stefanie's to let her pour sugar into the bowl, and she fell in. All I could do was laugh, so I cleaned her up and we started again. Here are some photos of Stefie after I cleaned her up. I forget to mention after the photos, I thought she could not due much harm with a wooden spoon until she hit me on the head with it. Ouch! That was the end of Stefanie and the wooden spoon. To think she looks like the perfect angel in this photo.

This year for Thanksgiving we spent a quiet day relaxing at home. Unfortunately, Theresa and I were both sick, and I lost my voice. We enjoyed a nice dinner and we are greatful for all of our blessings. Jon and I could not be more blessed to have Stefanie as our daughter.

A DAY WITH STEFANIE, NOVEMBER 12, 2006

to come back from Home Depot, and I
decided to entertain her in my closet.

DISNEY ON ICE MEDIA PARTY, NOVEMBER 8, 2006

Tonight we went to see Disney on Ice, but before hand we attended the Media Party. Stefanie took photos with Mickey and Minnie Mouse. This was so exciting for her and even more for us. When Jon was a little boy and could not read, his Father George, would receive letters from Disney. (Jon's father's letters were press releases.) George would sit Jon on his lap and make up the letter as he read it to Jon telling Jon, he was receiving letters from Mickey Mouse. Who knew when we both grew up we would both have worked for Disney.

I suppose the tradition will continue only now Stefie has the wonderful opportunities to actually meet Mickey, Minnie and friends up close and in person. Stefie did great with the show and what a great show it was. The video is of Stefie running around and interacting with other kids for the very first time. We could not resist letting her do this tonight since it was the first time. Look at the smile on her face. She loves to copy what other kids are doing.

THE SUCKER, THE CHAIR AND THE CORN POPPER

Theresa and I went out shopping today, while Jon and Stefanie spent the day playing together. We brought home chocolate suckers, a new chair for Stefanie, a corn popper and dinner. Here are photos of Stefanie with her first chocolate sucker, I had to stop her at 1/2 the sucker. I had my back turned for just a minute and looked over to discover she had eaten almost half of her sucker. This was not something I expected to take place. I should have known better than to hand her chocolate.

Stefie loves to hang out with us in the family room, and I thought she would love a comfortable chair of her own while watching her favorite shows. Theresa and I were at Babies-R-Us, and we brought Stefanie a corn popper. We still remember all of our cousins going crazy with this toy.
