Stefanie takes flowers to Great Grandpa Jesse and Aunt Josephine. Unfortunately my Grandfather is no longer with us, and he passed away before we began the adoption process. My grandfather never knew we were adopting and would never meet Stefanie. This visit to California was very special with Stefanie, and in some way I feel Stefie had a chance to meet Grandpa. Every time I visit family in California, I take Grandpa Jesse & Aunt Josephine flowers.

STEFANIE'S FIRST TRIP TO CALIFORNIA

Jon and I took Stefanie to California to meet our families and close friends. This is the first time we have taken Stefanie on a trip since returning home from China on June 2, 2006. Stefanie did extremely well on the flight. We had a wonderful time visiting with everyone and we were so happy everyone has finally met Stefanie.

I would like to apologize to some of Jon's family for not taking photos. Jon and I were enjoying our visit so much with Jon's Uncle Rube, Aunt Selma, Lena (Phyllis's Mother), Lorna (close family friend), Cousins Larry, Phyllis and Ken, we forgot to take photos. We are very sorry we do not have photos of our day together in Orange County.

Natalie and Stefanie got along great and loved playing
with each other, as if they were old friends. This was
Stefanie's very first playdate. I am so happy it was with
my close friend Donna's daughter.
